ABOUT US
SUNRISE MONTESSORI was founded by Sagarie Amerasinghe ( Saagi) with over twenty years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator. She is a Certified Montessorian with the Association of Montessori International ( AMI ) and a member of the National Association of Family Childcare (NAFCC). Her passion is Guiding young minds to develop the joy of learning and life skills that last their lifetime.
Sunrise Montessori is a home-based facility. Our goal is to make whole-child centered Montessori education in a small class size, accessible and affordable to all families.
We Work Hard To Provide Empowering students to become scholars.
In our facility, great importance is attached to the development of the child. The classroom is divided into learning areas such as Practical Life activities, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, Arts, Geography, Botany, Zoology, Music, and the Development of social, linguistic, cognitive, and physical skills. Learning about nutrition and monthly cooking projects are included in our curriculum.

SUNRISE MONTESSORI goal is to foster an environment of love, acceptance, creativity, and learning for kids between the ages of 3 to 6 years, as well as to offer the kids in our care a safe, loving, secure setting that is developmentally appropriate. We inspire our kids to research and discover their nature every day, making them feel that our facility is a home away from home.

STEWARDSHIP
SUNRISE MONTESSORI peace education and lessons in Grace and Courtesy are two major components of your child’s Montessori experience. Starting at the earliest ages, children learn to respect the work of their peers, speak calmly without interrupting, and care for the other children, animals, and plants in their classroom. Our class includes children of mixed ages learning the importance of respecting the rights of others and the responsibility of helping others while nurturing their own individuality.
