“The most important period of life is not the age of university studies, but the first one, the period between birth and age six. For, that is the time when man’s intelligence itself, his greatest instrument, is being formed.” Maria Montessori

Primary / Preschool / Pre-K (3 to 6 years old)

Our Primary program is designed specifically for children aged 3 - 6. It emphasizes the importance of learning essential concepts and skills in a fun and personalized way. This way, children become independent and confident individuals who can master a variety of subjects.

PRACTICAL LIFE

Practical life activities are an important part of a child’s development. They help the child to become competent in taking care of themselves, taking care of the environment, and developing motor skills. Practical life activities involve using things that are common in everyday life, such as dishes, pitchers, and water. Exercise activities include things like washing dishes, pouring water, and preparing food. Practical life activities help children to become more independent, organized, and focused.

SENSORIAL

Sensorial education is about teaching children concepts and skills through their five senses. Maria Montessori’s self-correcting materials help the child learn by doing. Through touch, sight, hearing, smell, and taste, students learn concepts such as long, short, thin, thick, sort similar objects, and match scents. These materials also help to lay the foundation for the mathematical mind with concrete lessons that represent abstract concepts such as the binomial and trinomial cubes.

MATH

Mathematics is a subject that teaches us about numbers and how they work. We use some beautiful materials to teach children about the decimal system, and we also practice math lessons and work with fractions and basic algebra. Our Montessori materials help children learn about numbers and math concepts in a way that is both concrete and fun.

LANGUAGE ARTS

The Montessori environment helps children to develop their natural ability to speak, learn new words, read and write fluently. This is done through activities that focus on developing proficiency in these areas, as well as teaching children how to use language correctly and effectively. Activities are based on phonics, linguistics and sight-reading skills, which are custom-made to the individual needs of each student. This helps them to become lifelong readers and writers.

CULTURAL

Cultural Subjects are classes that focus on learning about different parts of the world. In these classes, you will learn about geography, history, science, and community education. In addition, you will learn about important topics such as ethics, social awareness, and peace education.

ART / MUSIC

The arts are a part of our school’s curriculum. We learn about music, visual arts, and dramatic arts in our classes.

“Children have a kind of instinct, a special sensibility, which urges them to acquire new words. Between three and five years especially, the child’s mind continues to absorb words. ”
